PRO9NYNE MUSEUM FEATURES L & M CAR
Pawtucket, RI, The Pro9nyne Museum is hosting a very special Speedbowl
Historic Modified. The L & M car driven by the ‘67 and ‘68
Championship driver, Newt Palm, and the ’70 Championship driver of Walt
Dombrowski. The car is on display in the show room of the Museum.
Car owner, Stosh Miezejeski was kind enough to allow the Pro9nyne group the
privilege of sharing the history that this car brings with the racing
community. Along with the L & M car, the Museum also has the 151
Stockwell car, the #3 Ole Blue car, the Woodchopper and many other pieces of
the past available for the public to see.
With school vacation just around the corner, why not make the Pro9nyne Museum a part of your plans during the month of February. The Video Room, Library and Main Display floor hold many insights as to where and how racing in New England got it’s start. Don't forget to stop at the Gift Shop while you are there to pick up that extra special item for someone’s birthday. The Pronyne Motorsports Group has been an active part of racing history since 1984 and has carried the motto, “Where Racing History Repeats Itself”. According to the groups president, Ric Mariscal, they are excited to now be the center for auto racing history in New England. Volunteers are always needed and welcomed . If you are experienced in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and/or masonry work and would like to contribute some of your time and expertise, please call the office at 401-447-4202.
