Robert W. Willner
PhotoWILLNER, ROBERT W., age 50, formerly of Bristol, RI, passed away on August 15, 2007 at Kent Hospital surrounded by loving family and friends. He was the beloved Eternal Companion of Colleen Hopkins-Willner.

Born in Providence, he was the son of Robert Willner of Delray Beach, Florida and the late Vera Willner. He is also survived by two sisters, Heidi Willner of Providence, her husband Kris Peterson and son Ryan; and Wendy Waterman of Delray Beach, Florida.

Robert was the son-in-law of Mr. & Mrs. James Hopkins, Sr. of Johnston. He was also the loving brother-in-law of Jim, Lois, Ken, Mary, Chris, Cathy, Joe, Alyssa, Kevin & Beth Hopkins. He also has eight other nephews, five nieces, and one great-nephew whom he loved and enjoyed in the past seven years of his marriage.

Bob was an avid NASCAR fan, Hot Wheels collector and former Bristol firefighter. He was also the former owner of Beau Jones Restaurant in Providence.

His funeral will be held on Monday, August 20, at 9 a.m. from the Peter J. Barrett Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green,Warwick, with a service at 10 a.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1000 Narragansett Parkway, Warwick. Visiting hours are Sunday 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
